He was a retired factory worker at Southwire, a member of Dyess Masonic Lodge #734 for 50 years and a member of the Pentecostal Church of God. He is survived by his wife Sylvia Franks; son: Rickey (Bonnie) Franks of Marked Tree, AR; grandson: Jeremy Franks of Marked Tree, AR; brothers: Johnny (Nancy) Franks of Lepanto, AR and David Franks of Jonesboro, AR. He is preceded in death by his parents; sister-in-law: Cordelia Franks.
