Funeral services for 92 year old Raymond E. Stone of Cadiz were conducted Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at King’s Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Cannon & Rev. Brad Chalfin officiating. Burial followed in Caldwell Blue Spring Cemetery.

SURVIVORS:
Wife: Margaret J. Stone, Cadiz, KY;
Daughter: Sharon Gay Stone Hull (Richard), Glen Allen, VA;
Grandson: Parker Alan Hull, Glen Allen, VA;
A number of nieces & nephews.

He was born in Trigg Co., KY on February 3, 1925 to the late Bishop Wilson Stone & Bertha Isabel (Gray) Stone. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter, Edye Stone Banko; two brothers, Orbie H. Stone, Lloyd Odell Stone; four sisters, Goldie (Stone) Wade, Oletta (Stone) Audas, Juanita (Stone) Guier, and Mary (Stone) Bland.

He died Sunday, August 20, 2017 at Shady Lawn Nursing & Rehabilitation center following a long illness.

He was Retired from Whirpool, a US Army & Navy Veteran, and a member of the Canton Baptist Church.

Music was provided by Michelle (Wade) Dimmick, vocalist, Dianne Hill, Vocalist and Clarissa King, Pianist.

Serving as pallbearers were:
Jason Wade, Russ Guier, Gene Stone, Jimmie Carr, Ronnie Sadler and Bill Butler.
