Dr. Kenneth W. Huffman died after a short illness on March 29, 2017 at the age of 94 1/2. He is survived by two sons, George of Bowie, Md, and Paul of Decatur, TN, four grandchildren, one great-grandson, one sister, and one brother. He was preceded in death by his wife Elodie in March 2007, three brothers, and one sister. Dr. Huffman graduated from Oklahoma State University with a degree in Veterinary Medicine and earned his Masters Degree from Kansas state University. He was a member of the Oklahoma and the Ohio Veterinary Medical Associations. His career included working at two veterinary practices and the Hess & Clark Research Farm in Ashland, Ohio, then at Merrell National Lab/Dow-Merrell Labs in Reading, Ohio. Kenneth was a WWII veteran, having served in the Field Artillery, then as a B-26 Pilot in the Army Air Corps. He retired from the Air Force Reserve in 1966 as a Major. Kenneth was an active member of Saint Paul Community United Methodist Church, the Fleetwood Travelcade Club, and the Experimental Aircraft Association. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, May 13, at 1 p.m. at St. Paul UMC in Madeira, Ohio, with a reception following the service. Guest book online at www.strawserfuneralhome.com
