Albert was a member of First Christian Church in Colchester Illinois and Cedar Creek Church of Christ in Leo, Indiana. He also was a Free Mason and a member of the Lions club. He was the past President of his golf club in Bushnell, Illinois. He was the city treasurer of Bushnell Illinois. He enjoyed woodworking and model railroad trains. He had his pilot’s license and enjoyed flying.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Doris, one son, Stephen (Kim) Bliven, three daughters, Linda (Alan) Beavers, Lisa (Scott) DeGroff, Susan (Paul) Estes. Also surviving are nine grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and one on the way.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters.
