Friends may call between 4:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Friday and after 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud. Parish prayers will be at 4:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
John an ordinary person who led an extraordinary life was born on May 7, 1941 in St. Cloud, Minnesota to John C. and Ann (Wollak) Kloss. He married Dolores J. Feldhous on May 10, 1962 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Rockville. John was employed by Lantz Lenses for 29 years and later by Electrolux until his retirement in 2003. He was a member of St. John Cantius Parish where served as an usher.
John loved making things from wood, he always said, that he was going to make his own coffin, he did make urns for himself and other family members. John also made pens for cancer patients. He enjoyed fishing, camping and hunting; John especially enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
John is survived by his wife, Dolores; daughter, Joan (Steve) Budde of Foley; son, Douglas of St. Cloud; granddaughters, Ashley Schefers and Brittnee Budde; mother-in-law, Loretta Feldhous of Rockville and his dog, Willie.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, David; brothers, Robert and Richard.
