Jessica Anne Forbes, 25, passed away Friday, August 18, 2017, at her residence.
Born in Baltimore, MD, Jessica was the beloved daughter of Thomas P. and Dawn M. (Damario) Forbes of Stewartstown.
Jessica graduated as Valedictorian from Kennard-Dale High School, Class of 2009 where she enjoyed playing soccer on a traveling team. She studied biology at Stevenson University in Maryland, where she received her Bachelor's Degree, graduating Summa Cum Laude in 2013. She was attending Central Washington University in her first year of graduate school and worked as a Veterinary Tech at Vetco. Jessica was also recently qualified as a runner for the Boston Marathon.
Surviving, in addition to her parents, are a sister, Amanda Forbes and her fiancé, David Stivelman; a brother, T.J. Forbes and nephew, Thomas Forbes; grandparents, Mary and Don Macreadie; grandmother, Okkum Forbes; aunt and godmother, Dawn Macreadie; uncle, Jim Forbes; and cousin, Zachary Forbes. Jessica was preceded in death by her grandparents, Richard and Carolyn Damario; and an uncle, Rick Damario.
There will be a visitation celebrating Jessica's life from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, August 24, 2017, at Hartenstein Funeral & Cremation Care, Inc., 19 S. Main St., Stewartstown, with a memorial service beginning at 8 p.m. with Pastor Emily Smiley officiating. Interment is private and at the convenience of her family.
