Kathryn Mae "Kate" Baker, 79, passed away August 16, 2017, at her home in Elnora, surrounded by her loving family. Kate was born in Odon, IN to Charles Lee and Nellie Mae (Brock) Dale. She married Woodrow "Woody" Baker on January 1, 1957. Kate was a homemaker and Mother to nine children and step-mother to six children. Kate is survived by three daughters, Shannon, Cathy, Becky; four sons, David, Woody Jr, Bob, and James; one step-daughter, Judy Fluckey; and two step-sons, Mike and Phillip. Also surviving are thirty-seven grandchildren; forty-five great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mary Ellen Dale. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two daughters, Merri Christine Mottern and LaDonna Bowen; three step-sons, Jerry, Joseph, and Donald Baker; and one sister, Carolyn Dale. Kate was a member of the Nazarene Church of Newberry, IN.
