JAMES McNALLY
A well known Volo resident, James McNally, 59, died July 3 at Condell Memorial hospital, Libertyville. He was born in Chicago, Oct. 26, 1921, the son of James and Anna Miller McNally.
He was employed as a highway maintenance man for the Illinois Department of Transportation.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy, nee Klemm, who he married in 1942 in Round Lake; six daughters, Mrs. Dennis (Karen) Shaver, Mrs. Jerry (Joy) Henningfeld and Mrs. Michael (Patricia) McDonaugh, all of McHenry, Mrs. Gary (Candee) Vasey, Carlsbad, Calif., Mrs. Steve (Jaimie) Heckt, San Diego, Calif., Mrs. Larry (Jill) Duke, Round Lake; thirteen grandchildren, one brother, Felix, Fox Lake.
His parents and two brothers, Andrew and Robert McNally, preceded him in death.
Visitation was held 3:30 to 9 p.m. on Sunday at the Peter M. Justen and Son funeral home. Last rites were conducted Monday at 2 p.m. at the Zion Lutheran church with burial in Fort Hill cemetery, Round Lake.
Memorials may be made to the Zion Lutheran church or the Wauconda area rescue squad.
