ROSE J. KLEMM
Rose J. Klemm, who along with her husband, had owned and operated the Merrill Wollen store in Volo until 3 years ago, died Monday, Nov. 22, at McHenry hospital, at the age of 73.
Mrs. Klemm was born in Austria March 8, 1894 and had been an area resident for the past 52 years.
Her husband, Otto, preceded her death June 16, 1963.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. James (Dorothy) McNally and Mrs. George (Elaine) Cross, both of Volo; eight grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren. The last of twelve children, Mrs. Klemm was preceded in death by eleven brothers and sisters.
Tuesday visitation at the Peter M. Justen & Son funeral home was held prior to services at the Zion Lutheran church Wednesday with the Rev. Herman Graef officiating. Burial was in Fort Hill cemetery, Round Lake.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the McHenry Zion Lutheran church.
