He was a retired tool and die maker for Pradco in Fort Smith with forty two years of employment. He was a member of the Van Buren First Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Ruby Tressie (Owens) Walker; two brothers, Robert and Owen Walker.
He is survived by his wife Sue (Bredrick) Walker of the home. They were high school sweethearts, the 24th would been their 55th anniversary; three daughters, Beverly Ramsey and husband, Stan of Fort Smith, Jill McDowell and husband, Jason, Tracey Lincks and husband, Bryant all of Van Buren; one sister, Jean Poindexter of Muskogee, Oklahoma; four grandchildren, Dustin and Jean Poindexter of Muskogee,Oklahoma; four grandchildren, Dustin & Emma McDowell, Devon Ramsey, Alexandra Lincks.
Pallbearers will be Dustin McDowell, Devon Ramsey, Chip Walker, Robert Walker, Jr, Jim Thomas and Mile Pettgrew.
Honorary pallbearers will be Wayne Waggoner and Charles Dutton.
