Phyllis "Jane" Fancher Hunter, age 89 of English, IN passed away on August 20, 2017 at Westminster Village in Clarksville, IN. Jane was born to Fred Atkins and Nellie Fay (Sturm) Atkins on September 22, 1927 in Champagne, ILL. Preceding Jane in death are her parents, husband Eugene Hunter and daughter Linda Gail Apple and a sister Fay Stockdale. Survivors include children, Mary Ellen Fetz of New Albany, IN, Russell Dean Fancher of English and Jo Annette Fancher of Huntingburg, twelve grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Along with a sister Wanda Ruth Wacther of Covington, KY. Jane loved quilting, gardening and playing Scrabble Visitation will be Tuesday, August 22 at Denbo Funeral Home in English. Burial will follow in the Wickliffe Cemetery
