Mr. Osborn was born August 14, 1902 in Indian Territory, Oklahoma near what was later to become Mounds, Ok. He was one of nine children--six boys and three girls. His parents, Everett W. and Gladys Steele Osborn and their only child, at that time, Marie (Ryan) moved to Indian Territory in 1901 from Osceola, MO. Glen worked in the oilfields of Creek County, OK. He has been a resident of Hockley County, TX since the early 1940's where he was employed in oilfield work.
He was the brother of Marie, Frances, Frank, John, Lew, Vernie, Gordon and Margurette.
He is survived by five daughters, all born in near Hockley County, Judy Durrett, Shirley Wood, Mildred Herrington, Bobbie Johnson, and Gayle Musslewhite.
