Obituary for Mary Jane Siville
Mary Jane Siville, long-time resident of Jacksonville, Illinois, passed away peacefully in her home on Monday, August 21, 2017, at 11:45 a.m. She was 88 years of age.
Mrs. Siville was born on October 16, 1928, in Caruthersville, Missouri; the daughter of Sanford Leslie and Mary Ellen (Durham/Lewis) Baird. She married her loving husband, Leroy Dale Siville, at her family home in St. Ann, Missouri on June 10, 1950. He preceded her in death in 1993.
She is survived by two sons - Steven Siville of Mary Esther, Florida, and Gary (wife Lisa) Siville of Edmonds, Washington; one sister-in-law – Esther Siville of Monmouth, Oregon; three grandchildren- Laura (husband Christopher) Siville George of San Diego, California, Alexandra (Allie) Siville of Colorado, and Cooper Siville of Florence, Alabama; one grandson-in-law – Jonathon (Jake) Garelick of San Francisco, California; three great-grandchildren – Jaxon, Lyla and Olivia George; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her husband, one son – Randal Dale Siville, one daughter-in-law – Julie Hotz Siville, her parents, five brothers – Kirby, Jimmy, John Ed, Ronald and Bobby Baird, and one sister- Joan Baird, and several brothers- and sisters-in-law - Willard and Ruth Siville, Evelyn Pyle Chronkhite, Frank Pyle, Gene Chronkhite, Robert and Ramona Siville, Glenn and Marjorie Siville, Raymond Siville, Fred Siville, Ruth and Harold Drollinger, and Kenneth Siville.
Mrs. Siville was a devoted wife, a homemaker, a loving mother to her three active sons and daughters-in-law, and a loyal family member and friend. She was an Eagle Scout mother; spent many afternoons and evenings watching football, basketball and rugby games, and track & field and cross country meets; and enjoyed her many weekends at the family cabin in Meredosia, Illinois.
Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Siville will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, August 29, 2017, at the Floral Hill Cemetery in Hoopeston, Illinois. There will be no visitation. Family and friends are invited to be guests at a luncheon and Celebration of Mary Jane Siville's life following the funeral services.
