Becky Lynn Reed, age 42 of Fairfield, passed away on Sunday, August 20, 2017. Becky was born in Hamilton, Ohio on November 4, 1974 to Danny Reed and Linda (Stailey) Reed.Becky graduated from Ross High School in 1993 and later from Miami University with an Associates Degree. Becky began her first official job with Angilos Pizza when she was just 15 years old. She then went on to work for Waffle House and quickly earned a promotion to store manager. After a decade of waffles, grits and too many third shifts, Becky decided to pursue her true passion and left the Waffle World to work for the Great Parks of Hamilton County as a program Naturalist. Throughout her 18 year career with Great Parks, she held several different positions such as Gift Shop Girl, Snake Lady and Vulture Bait. The latter part of her time with Great Parks was spent at Glenwood Gardens in the Highfield Discovery Garden as "The Garden Girl" where she created programs for both children and adults that were educational, fun and engaging. Becky had a true talent for tailoring her programs to the audience and her programs quickly filled with enthusiastic patrons. When Becky wasn't knee deep in mud pies or hosting Victorian tea parties at work, she was an avid patron of the arts. Attending the theater, museums and concerts of all kinds appealed to Becky's eclectic tastes.

Becky is survived by her devoted partner, Brian Major; her parents, Danny and Linda (Stailey) Reed; grandmother, Ada (Pennington) Stailey; siblings, Mark Reed and Susan (Mark) Droke; in-laws John and Karen (Shull) Major. Kelly (Brian) Daley, Stacy (Dan) Hof; nieces Hayley Martin, Jenna Droke, Lily Droke, Claire Daley, Kylie Hof, Korynn Hof, Kennedy Hof; nephews Justin Droke, William Daley, Drew Daley, and Kasen Hof. Becky is preceded in death by many beloved relatives, including great-grandparents, Grandparents Carol and Rema (Duncan) Reed, Russell Stailey and her dear Mrs.Turtle.
