Leonard Dean Collins, 64, of Iaeger, WV, died Thursday, August 17, 2017, in Princeton Community Hospital, in Princeton, WV, following a long illness.
Leonard was born May 28, 1953, in Iaeger, WV, a son of the late Grayson Noah Collins (1925-Deceased) and Berniece Margaret Cline-Collins (1928-Deceased). He was a retired coal miner and of the Baptist Faith.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one son, Dustin Collins (Deceased), and one brother, Tommy Collins (Deceased).
Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Pamela Cline-Collins of the home; one son, Ryan Collins of Iaeger; two brothers, Denver Collins and wife Janice Faye Collins, and Clinton Collins and wife Sanette Collins, all of Princeton; three sisters, Cathy Collins-Bailey and companion Donald Cline of Princeton; Patti Collins-Hirsh and husband Anton Hirsh of St Charles, IL; Pam Collins-Ratliff and husband Charles Ratliff of NC; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday, August 21, 2017, at 1:00 with Reverend Clinton Collins officiating at the chapel of Fanning Funeral Home in Iaeger, WV. Burial will follow in the Collins Cemetery at Orchard Branch near Litwar, WV.
