Obituary for Lelia L. Baber

Lelia Lynn Baber Age 81, of Dallas, passed away May 22, 2016 in Midlothian, Texas.

She was born in Dallas on August 29, 1934 to Charles Clayton and Vivian E.(Daniell) Kedy.

Lelia was a wonderful, loving, and faithful servant to her family and the many foster children she cared for. She began her involvement with foster children in 1968 and the number of children she cared for is too numerous to count.

She was predeceased by a brother, Charles Kedy and a son, Stephen Ray Baber.

Lelia is survived by her children, Katherine Dennings, Donna Easley, Theresa Quinlan, Shawn Baber, and Dexter Baber; 9 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 9 great-great-grandchildren; and one sister, Charlotte Tate.

A visitation will be held from 6 to 7 pm, Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at Jaynes Memorial Chapel.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Laurel Land Memorial Park in Dallas.
