She was born October 6, 1924 in Preston, Idaho to Jesse Warren Roper and Virginia Burnette Beckstead.
Audrey married Earl Leon Bowlden on January 24, 1946 in Midvale. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple on October 16, 1952.
She worked for the telephone company for forty years. Audrey was an active member of the LDS Church, holding a variety of callings, including working at the Jordan River Temple for twenty years.
Audrey was always very optimistic and a hard worker. Her sons were her pride and joy; she loved spending time with her family.
Survived by her sons, Val (Pam) and Kim (Donna); seven grandchildren; and twenty-four great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leon; three sisters; and one brother.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 23, 2017 in the Midvale Fifth Ward Chapel, 8171 South Jackson Street (250 West), Midvale. Viewings will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at Goff Mortuary, 8090 S. State Street (100 East), Midvale, and prior to the services at the church on Wednesday from 9:45-10:45 a.m.
Interment: Midvale City Cemetery.
