Deborah Lynn Belcher, age 51, of Elkton, MD, passed away Monday, August 14, 2017. Born in Wilmington, DE, on July 5, 1966, she was the daughter of Willie Cox Roark, Newark, DE, and the late Thomas Roark.
Mrs. Belcher was a certified nursing assistant. She enjoyed being with family, playing bingo and reading.
In addition to her mother, survivors include her husband, Melvin K. Belcher; children, Ashley D. Mugo, Fort Hood, TX, Tara M. Drennan, Midlothian, VA, Shannon Belcher, North East, MD, and Zachary Belcher, Elkton, MD; grandchildren, Ariana, Alex, Austin and Alyssa Dominguez, Isaiah, Ezra and Claire Drennan, Aiden, Amariah and Aaron Mugo, Kevin Courtot and Taevon and Tristan Nicholas; and sisters, Wanda Cerroni, Newport, DE, Sharon Elwood, Elkton, MD, Jane Riley and Marie Honaker, both of Newark, DE.
In addition to her father, Mrs. Belcher was preceded in death by her brother, Mike Wyatt.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, August 22, 2017, at Hicks Home for Funerals, 103 W. Stockton Street, Elkton, MD, where visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Interment will be in North East Methodist Cemetery, North East, MD.
