Jesse Lee Bass, born August 28, 1929 and died on July 28, 2017. Born in Dallas, a graduate of Pleasant Grove High School and North Texas State University, he worked at Ford Motor Company until his retirement. Preceded in death by parents, Jesse Sr. and Lela Bass; wife Rose Nell (Grogan) Bass; and brother, Bill (Jane) Bass. He is survived by daughter, Karla Jean (Hoffman) Bass; son, Paul Bryan (Susan) Bass; grandchildren, Luke (Ashlie) and Peter Hoffman, Catherine Bass; brother-in-law, George (Jimmie) Grogan; sister-in-law, Nita (Dan) Bardsley, and a host of other relatives and friends. A member of Pleasant Grove Christian Church, he enjoyed beautiful music and was a member of The Christian Men's Quartet, playing golf and being with his family and many friends. We would like to especially thank Peggy Patterson (longtime friend) and Nita for their care, support and devotion to Dad.
