Beulah was born and raised on a farm in rural Senath. She was the first-born of a very close knit family of six siblings. One sibling, Gerald, died as an infant. Then there was Virginia (Nina), Gladys (Hap), Cleadus (Clete), Sue and Janice (Janny or Sis). Beulah married Otis Jefferson Davis on October 29, 1942 in Piggott, Arkansas when she was only 15 and had her first child, a boy Larry Ray Davis, at 16. Her husband went off to war when she was 17. After the war, a second son Rickey Lee Davis was born. In 1954, the family moved to Caruthersville where Beulah remained for the rest of her life. She had many jobs, including working as grocery clerk at Adair's IGA, Big Star and other stores. She was also a teacher's aide and administrative assistant. Later she was the RSVP Transportation Coordinator. The best part of every job she had was interacting with people. Beulah was married to Charles "Charlie" Stewart for 20 years. He preceded her in death on October 16, 2013. She was a very loyal and faithful member of the First Baptist Church.
She is survived by one son, Larry (Beverly) Davis, Sugarland, Texas, a sister, Janice (David) Greer, Paragould, Arkansas, three grandsons, Scott, Chris and Nelson Davis, two great grandchildren, Noah and Cody Davis, and many other nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Opal Jordan, her husband, Charles Stewart, a son, Ricky Davis, two brothers, Gerald and Cleadus Jordan, and two sisters, Virginia and Gladys.
