He worked as an airport police captain and emergency management. He was a fan of the Yankees, sprint and midget cars. He enjoyed photography, his racing team "JCS Motor Sports".
Scott is survived by his wife of 28 years; his daughter; his stepdaughter; his stepson and his wife; his six grandchildren; his brother and his wife; his uncle and his wife; and several nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
