Elizabeth Elender Floyd was born 20 Feb 1841 in Hardeman County, Tennessee to Thomas C. Floyd and Nancy S. Reynolds. She married (1) Milton Owen Thornton on 18 Jan 1860, but he was bushwhacked and hung by ex-confederates on 04 May 1866 in Pulaski County, Missouri. Elizabeth married (2) Hamen L. Ellan Luttrell on 05 Jan 1870 in Brumley, Miller County, Missouri (at the residence of Bluford Luttrell). Elizabeth died on 17 May 1919 in Brumley, Miller County, Missouri.
