Sandra Farrington Henson, 71, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 17, 2017
with her loving family by her side. She was of the Baptist Faith.
She was preceded in death by her beloved son Bobby; father, Charles Farrington; mother, Cora Johnson Peck and stepfather Joseph Peck; sisters; Barbara and Charlene; brother, “Hoppy”.
She is survived by Robert Henson her loving husband of 50 years; daughters, Ronda and Kari; son-in-law Brooks; stepdaughters, Danette and Brandie; sister, Frances; 5 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She retired after 25 years from Blue Cross. She was an avid reader and a British history enthusiast. Her greatest joy was her husband and family and beloved dog Dusty.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 20, 2016 from 1-4 pm with a memorial service to follow in the Highway 58 Chapel of Turner Funeral Home. The service will be followed by a gathering at the New McDonald Cemetery. There will be a reception at the family home to celebrate her life.
