Rosie was born in Santuc, South Carolina to Elizabeth William and Daniel Woods. She passed away in Monterey County, California on DEcember 22, 2012.
She graduated from Monterey High School and furthered her education at Los Angeles Trade Technical College, where she received her degree. She then began working at UCLA Medical Center. She started working in the kitchen then transferred to the medical records department. She later retired after 38 years of employment and moved back to the Monterey area. Rosie was baptized at an early age at Hayes CME Church.
Rosie was a shopaholic, she loved to shop for her family. She also enjoyed donating her time to the Food Bank. Rosie gave love to all that came in contact with her. She was mamma to everyone. She was truly loved and will be missed dearly.
She was preceded in death by her grandson Kevon, mother Elizabeth, father Daniel, brother Bruce, and sister Henrietta.
Rose is interred in the Veteran's Garden Section at Mission Memorial Park, 1915 Ord Grove Avenue, Seaside, California.
