4 Mar 2007: Thomas Alexander Ehrgood, 83, Lebanon, died Friday, March 2, 2007, in Lebanon Good Samaritan Hospital. He was the husband of Polly C. Carruthers Ehrgood. He was born in Lebanon November 27, 1923, son of the late Judge A. Harry and Katharine Witmeyer Ehrgood. He was a retired attorney having practiced last in Lebanon from 1952 to April 2006. He served as an ensign in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was a member of St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, Lebanon. He was a 1941 graduate of Lebanon High School, 1942 graduate of Deerfield (MA) Academy, Amherst, in 1946 and Dickinson Law School in 1951. He served in the PA House of Representatives and PA Senate from 1954 to 1964. Surviving in addition to his wife are children Mary C. Ehrgood, WI, Thomas A. Ehrgood Jr., MA, Daniel G. Ehrgood, Muncy, Andrew J. Ehrgood, CT; grandchildren Luke Conner, Alexander Conner, Laura Conner, Julia Ehrgood, Emily Ehrgood, Daniel Ehrgood, Benjamin Ehrgood and Peter Ehrgood. He was preceded in death by daughter Ellen Priscilla Ehrgood and brothers A. Harry Ehrgood Jr. and Peter W. Ehrgood. At the request of Mr. Ehrgood, private family service. Interment Mt.
