Mr. Sam Busby Mauldin, Jr., 95, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at Brookwood Villa Personal Care Home in Waynesboro, MS. He was born in Wayne County, MS on Saturday, January 20, 1923 to Sam B. Mauldin, Sr. and Alma L. Davis Mauldin. He was a member of Waynesboro First Baptist Church. He was affiliated as a Salesman with Jim Walter Homes. He was a Master Mason with H. S. Stansel Lodge #603 for 70 years. Mr. Mauldin is preceded in death by his wife, Annie Mae Hollimon Mauldin; parents, Sam B. Mauldin, Sr. and Alma L. Davis Mauldin; daughter, Barbara M. Clements; son-In-law, Henry Kirkwood; sister, Mildred L. Graham; and granddaughter, Melissa Mauldin. He is survived by his son, Sam B. Mauldin, III (Linda), Waynesboro, MS; daughter, Linda M. Kirkwood, Waynesboro, MS; sister, Mary Helen Bunch, Waynesboro, MS; 6 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren. Visitation for Mr. Mauldin will be held from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Friday, May 25, 2018 at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, May 25, 2018 at Freeman Funeral Home with Dr. Steve Smith officiating. Interment will be in Serenity Gardens Cemetery.
