Obituary: Mrs Ellen Scullen died at her home in the village on Apri 12, 1911 aged 67 yrs. 2 months. She was born in Mosier Town , PA in 1844. In 1860 she married George Scullen. Nine yrs later they came to Trimbelle Township. Born to this union were six children, 3 who preceded her. Living are Mrs. George Brown, Leonard Scullen of Fairmont, MN, and George W Scullen who is in the US Navy. She leaves an aged mother and sister in Boone, IA. She moved to Diamond Bluff in 1902. The funeral was held in the Baptist church and burial in Trimbelle cemetery.
