Ms. Bird was born Aug. 19, 1934 in Olney, the daughter of Lloyd Virgil and Grace Elaine Bailey Rodgers.
She was a retired private duty licensed practical nurse.
Survivors include two sons, David and Michael Bird; a brother, Albert Rodgers; a sister, Delores Brown; an uncle, Roy Rodgers, and aunt, Wilma Rodgers; a granddaughter, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Preceding her in death were her parents.
Funeral serives were held at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home with burial in Haven Hill Cemetery in Olney.
