Ware Shoals – Kathy Gail Davenport Garrett, 63, wife of Buddy Wilson Garrett, of 30 Turkey Creek Lane, died Thursday, August 17, 2017 at her home.

Born in Anderson County, she was a daughter of the late James Calvin and Naomi Boswell Davenport. She was of the Pentecostal faith and a homemaker.

Surviving in addition to her devoted husband of 40 years of the home are: three sons, Ray (Abigail) Brock of Ware Shoals, Troy (Toni) Brock of NE, and Travis Garrett of Columbia, her daughter, April Garrett of IL, and a sister, Faye Simmons of Waterloo. She was predeceased by two sisters, Opal Davenport and Linda Powell.

Graveside services will be held at 11 A.M. Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at Reedy Grove Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery with Rev. Tommy Wooten officiating.
