-Beverly Yvonne Robertson, 74, of Belle Rive, Illinois passed away at 6:30 P.M. August 15, 2017 at her residence with her family by her side. She was born May 13, 1943 in Mobile, Alabama to Everett and Vera (Bishop) Wallace. Beverly married Gerald "Jerry" Robertson on August 16, 1959 in Dahlgren, Illinois. They were blessed with 58 years of marriage.
In addition to her husband, Beverly is survived by her son, Kerry Robertson and wife, Arleen of Belle Rive, Illinois; daughters, Tammy Rightnowar and husband, Brian of Bluford, Illinois and Julie Harrison and husband, Rob of Belle Rive, Illinois; grandchildren, Amber Mays and husband, Josh of Opdyke, Illinois, Joshua Rightnowar of Bluford, Illinois, Dustin Rightnowar and wife, Ashley of Keenes, Illinois, Lacey Gentry and husband, Rick of Woodlawn, Illinois, Jordan Harrison of Bonnieville, Kentucky, and Jayden Harrison of Belle Rive, Illinois; great-grandchildren, Shaley Rightnowar, Hailey Gentry, Gunner Gentry, and Kennedy Gentry; brother, Rodney Wallace and wife, Eva of Dahlgren, Illinois; sister, Cherlyn Wilkey and husband, Donnie of Belle Rive, Illinois; and several nieces and nephews.
Beverly was preceded in death by her parents.
Beverly was a retired Special Education teacher and beautician for many years. She was a member of Central Christian Church in Mount Vernon, Illinois. Beverly enjoyed spending time with her family. Her many hobbies were camping, sewing, and tending to her flowers and Koi pond. Beverly also spent many hours reading her bible.
