Mrs. Monroe was born the daughter of George Franklin McDonald and Etta Caroline Britt McDonald on February 5, 1960, in Savannah, Ga.
She leaves behind two children, Pertina Dianne (Elijah) Sanders of Georgetown, and Steven Franklin (Macy) Monroe of Guyton, GA; three grandchildren, Alexandria Monroe, Hunter Monroe, and Landon Sanders; and a brother, Allen (Sandy) McDonald of Savannah, GA.
She was predeceased by her parents; and a brother, Michael McDonald.
