Elvera "Vera" Arebalo

January 19, 1960 - April 22, 2017


Life:

a life long resident and first born to Belisario and Inez Arebalo of Santa Barbara, Ca.

Vera attended Adams Elementary, La Cumbre Jr High, and a Proud Don from SBHS class of 1978.


Vera had a passion for music, animals, family and shopping. Music is what you could expect if you visited Vera with her room filled with more vinyl records than you could imagine, every genre all nicely organized.


Her life was filled with an menagerie of animals that included Dogs, Cats, Birds, and even a Bunny. Vera grew up loving her extended family and her love of life, her unforgettable laugh was infectious. Vera traveled with friends and family- exploring new places and embracing her Native Chumash history.


Vera worked for the United States Postal Service for 30 years devoted to hard work she was recognized and respected by all those she worked with. Vera is the Godmother to many of our children - which she gladly shared her passions of music by taking them to concerts or her thrill seeking of riding roller coasters and of course introducing them to her Native culture.

Vera Lived life on her terms- Loved her way- Died heroically and Now walks in Beauty.


Family:

Vera is survived by her brother Gilbert Arebalo of Santa Barbara, CA and Las Vegas, NV,

and her loyal Frito and Precious Snickers who all where with her to her final day.

Vera is proceeded in Heaven with her Parents Belasario and Inez Arebalo, her companions - Bandit, Jake, Amigo, Bunnita, Loretto, Tweety bird 1, 2 and 3, and her beloved Tecky.


In lieu of flowers please find it in your heart to make a donation in her Name to ASPCA (1-800-628-0028) or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (1-800-822-6344).

Visitation/Rosary will be held on Friday, April 28th from 5-9 with the rosary at 6:30 at Chapel of the Roses Atascadero, California. Church Service will be Saturday, April 29th at 10:30am at St. Williams Parish in Atascadero, California.


Graveside service immediately following church service at Santa Margarita Cemetery.

Reception to follow graveside at The Ranch in San Miguel, CA
