Born in Stafford County, Mr. Wine had retired as a painter from the Quantico Marine Corps Base after 34 years. He was a member of Richland Baptist Church in Hartwood, the American Legion Post No. 290, the Veterans of Foreign Wars and was a World War II Army veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Daisy C. Wine; a son, Norman H. Wine of Stafford; a daughter, Eva W. Wyatt of Stafford; a sister, Alma Embrey of Stafford; three grandchildren; one great-grandson; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, Fredericksburg Chapel, with the Rev. William E. Jeffcoat officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Charles Way, Richard Griffith, Claude Byram, Paul Storck, Jason Wyatt and Hal Cooper.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 tonight at the funeral home.
