Janet Sue Hines, 67, of Greeley, CO passed away January 4, 2012 at North Colorado Medical Center.
She was born January 9, 1944 in Denver, CO to Ted and Evelyn Turpin. She grew up in Denver and graduated from Adams State College with a degree in Education. On November 21, 1974 she married Dennis Hines.
Janet worked for the Weld County Sheriff’s office for over thirty years. Her family was her greatest source of joy. She loved being a grandmother and being a part of her grandchildren’s lives. Janet was a giving and caring person who always looked for the positive in others. She had a great sense of humor and was a strong person who never complained. She will be missed by her family and many friends.
Janet is survived by her daughter, Alonda Harrahill and husband Mark; son, Corry Hines; grandchildren, Doryion Barboza, Damyion Barboza, Fabyion Barboza and Teagan Harrahill, all of Greeley.
