Mrs. Mildred Faye (Cochrum) Farmer, age 86 of Symsonia, KY died on Tuesday, August 15, 2017, at Southgate Nursing and Rehabilitation in Metropolis, IL. She was a retired seamstress for Meritt Clothing and was a member of Symsonia Baptist Church.

Born Monday, September 22, 1930 in Lynn Grove, KY, she was the daughter of the late Charley Cochrum and the late Audie (Ritchie) Cochrum.

Surviving are daughters, Pam DeBernardi of Symsonia, KY and Dianne Beckman of Lone Oak, KY, grandchildren, Amanda Balcerzak, husband Chris of Lone Oak, KY, Emily Thompson, husband Brian of Indianapolis, IN, Garrett DeBernardi, wife Erin of Indianapolis, IN, Nathan DeBernardi of Nashville, TN, Tyler DeBernardi of Symsonia, KY, and great-grandchildren, Daniel and Hannah Balcerzak of Lone Oak, KY.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clint "Jim" Farmer, brothers, Cord Cochrum, Taz Cochrum and Herman (Red) Cochrum, and sisters, Charlene Baker of Mayfield, KY and Earlene Hopkins of Murray, KY, Marelle Turner and Clellon Wilkerson.

A Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at Collier Funeral Chapel located at 211 West 5th St. Benton, KY 42025 with Rev. Rick Miller officiating.

Interment will follow in Symsonia Cemetery, Symsonia, KY.

Visitation will be held between the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at Collier Funeral Home, Benton, KY.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Symsonia Baptist Church Building Fund, 680 State Route 348 W, Symsonia, KY 42082.
