Iola Emma Heimann of Fredericksburg passed away on August 8, 2017 at the age of 98. She was born in Fredericksburg to Albert and Olga Oehler Petermann on October 9, 1918. She married Guenther “G.A.”Heimann on October 26, 1940 and they shared 73 years together.
Iola is survived by her daughter Gail Klein and husband Steve of Fredericksburg, son Gary Heimann and wife Donna of Austin, sisters Mildred Henke of Fredericksburg, and Emma Brisbin of Austin, 4 grandchildren Lance Klein and wife Raenette, Aaron Klein and wife Ericca, Eric Heimann and wife Bethany, Chris Heimann and wife Thaisa, great grandchildren Lawton Klein and wife Bethany, Zane Klein, Lela Klein, Luke Klein, Breanna Greer, Brooke Greer & Aiden Heimann; sisters in law Norma Fritz of Fredericksburg, and Joan Petermann of Austin.
She is preceded in death by her husband Guenther “G.A.” Heimann her parents Albert and Olga Petermann, 2 brothers and 3 sisters,
Visitation will be on Thursday August 10, 2017 from 5:00p.m. to 7:00p.m. in Fredericksburg Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be Friday August 11, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Fredericksburg Funeral Home with Rev. Alan Williams officiating. Interment will follow at Meusebach Creek Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Chris Heimann, Eric Heimann, Lance Klein, Aaron Klein, Lawton Klein & Zane Klein.
