Thomas L. (Fay) Allison, Sr.
~ Thomas L. Allison, Sr., 70, husband of Lillian Allen Allison of 362 Fifth Street, died Saturday in the Charlotte Memorial Hospital.
~ He was a resident of Cherokee County and the son of the late Robert and Annie Daniel Allison. Mr. Allison was a retired textile worker and a member of Cherokee Avenue Mission.
~ Funeral services were held Sunday at 4:30 in the Shuford-Hatcher Chapel conducted by the Rev. Charles Thorne, Rev. Joe Belcher, and the Rev. Clarence Hampton. Burial followed in the Frederick Memorial Gardens.
~ Survivors include: sons, Thomas L. Allison, Jr., and James Nesbitt of Gaffney; five grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Carrie Huskey of Palatka, Fla.
~ Active pallbearers were Monroe Phillips, Howard Owensby, David Grigg, Perry and Howard Allen, and William and Walter Frye.
