OSWEGO — Kenneth M. Moody, 72, of Oswego, died unexpectedly Jan. 29, 2017, surrounded by his loving children. Born and raised in Oswego where he lived all his life, he was the son of the late William and Adeline (Barnes) Moody. He worked many years as a laborer for Mayflower Moving Company of Syracuse. Surviving are his wife, Connie Moody; his children, Kenneth (Lydia) Moody Jr., of New Jersey; Kimberly (Steve) Moody, of Oswego; Kristin (John) Brett, of Granby; Seven Bristol, of Pulaski; and Matthew Moody, of Oswego; his siblings, Linda (Rich) Smart, of Mexico; Jeanette Smart, of Volney; William (Shawn) Moody, of Binghamton; Harold (Lynn) Moody, of Florida; James (Terry) Moody, of Oswego; Claude (Ann) Moody, of Florida; Albert Moody, of Mexico; a stepbrother William Stott; grandchildren Robert (Melisa) Moody; Matthew (Lora) Gigon; Ryan Gigon; John Hudson Jr,, Ann Marie (Josh) Hudson, Jacob Brett; Jamie Brett; Gabriel Moody; Kira Ramirez; Myhlee Keller and Dylan Barrett; 10 great-grandchildren; several cousins; and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held 1-4 p.m. Saturday at the Nelson Funeral Home, 11 W. Albany St., Oswego. Graveside services will be held in the spring at Fairdale Cemetery. Donations can be made to the Human Concerns Center in Oswego.
