Helena June Robertson, 87, of Kokomo and formerly of Forest, passed away at 9:42 am on Sunday, August 13, 2017 at Community Howard Regional Hospital. She was born on March 3, 1930 in Derby, Virginia to Frank and Ora (Messer) Alder. On July 2, 1948 June married Max L. Robertson and he passed away on February 1, 2015.
June was a 1948 Forest High School graduate and worked at Delco Electronics for 10 years. She was a member of the Forest Baptist Church. Past member of the Russiaville Order of the Eastern Star and was a Cub Scouts Den Mother.
Survivors include her two sons Mark Dale (Katrina) Robertson of Kokomo, Timothy Jon Robertson of Frankfort; two grandchildren Cameron (Holly) Robertson, Casey Lee Robertson; two great grandchildren Noah and Isaac Robertson; two sisters Rose (Bert) Porter, Marion “Toob” (Bob) Wisehart; one brother Don Alder; several nieces and nephews.
June was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Ora Alder; husband Max L. Robertson; son Jeffrey Lee Robertson; granddaughter Krista Lynne Robertson.
A graveside service will be held at 11 am on Thursday, August 17, 2017 at St. Paul Cemetery with Rev. Bob Wisehart officiating. Memorial donations may be made to the Forest Volunteer Fire Department. Stout & Son Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
