Nancy Baker Heath, 81, of Magnolia, AR, passed away Sunday, August 13, 2017 at the Wadley Regional Medical Center in Texarkana, TX.
Nancy was born on September 29, 1935 in Magnolia, AR. She was a member of the Greer’s Chapel United Methodist Church, the Columbia County Home Extension Club, and was a Girl Scout Leader for many years.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Alvin Orris and Mary Sue (Johnson) Baker; husband Watson Henry Heath, Jr.; and a sister Suzanne Hicks.
She is survived by her daughters, Carolyn Heath Monk Steely and husband Kean of Berryville, AR and Laura Heath Brasher and husband Rick of Magnolia, TX; grandchildren, Megan Baker and husband Drew of Magnolia, AR, Lori Zelle and husband Matt of Conway, AR, Alexis Brasher of Magnolia, TX, Tyler Brasher of Magnolia, TX, Anna Guilkey and husband Jon of Columbia, MO, and Ethan Steely of Berryville, AR; great grandchildren, Olivia Baker, Charlotte Baker, and Sadie Baker all of Magnolia, AR; brothers, Dick Baker and wife Martha of Magnolia, AR and Paul Baker of Texarkana, TX; sister Beth Rushton and husband Bruce of Magnolia, AR; sisters- in- law, Shirley Heath of Magnolia, AR and Juanita Stelter of Brush Prairie, WA; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at the Lewis Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Daniel Read officiating. Burial will follow at the Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. in Magnolia, AR. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Bill Brasher, Lynn Gates, Eddie Simpson, James Souter, Steven Souter, and Glenn Watson.
