Blanks, Atlanta; Charles Wyndell Blanks, Gadsden; 3 daughters, Mrs. Hershell Bellew, Atlanta; Mrs. Ross Kilgore and Miss Mary Lynn Blanks, Gadsden; 4 sisters, Mrs. Lou Newman, Mrs. Martha Lee Coggins, Miss Mary Blanks, Tallapoosa, Georgia; Mrs. Mildred Owens, Jacksonville, Florida; 1 brother, J.W. Blanks, Tallapoosa, Georgia; 2 grandchildren. Funeral at Bethel Baptist Church in South Gadsden and interment in Forrest Cemetery. He was a native of Carroll County, Georgia and a resident of Etowah County for the past 27 years. He was a member of the Baptist church, Odd Fellows Lodge No. 151 and and employee of the City of Gadsden for the past nine years. Collier-Butler Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
