Billy Joe Simpson, Sr., 63, of Rogersville passed away Saturday, August 12th, 2017 at ECM Hospital.
Visitation will be Tuesday, August 15th from 6 – 8 p.m. at Rogersville Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Wednesday, August 16th at 11 a.m. in the chapel with Wayne Bowden officiating. Burial will follow in Butler Cemetery. Pallbearers will be James McNatt, Lucas Stokes, Bubba Doss, Eddie Staggs, Sr., Earl Glaze and Jeremy Howard; honorary, Eddie Staggs, Jr.
Mr. Simpson was preceded in death by his parents, Delana & Betty Simpson; stepmother, Edna Dean Simpson; sister, Christina Tedford. He is survived by his wife, Lisa Simpson; children, Billy Joe Simpson, Jr. and April Dawn Simpson; grandchildren, Shelby & Joseph Haraway and Hunter Simpson; siblings, Doug Simpson, Donald (Tammy) Peden, Diane (Eddie) Staggs, Debbie Purser, Marie (Richie) Howard, Debbie (Barry) Mendonca, Pam White and Michelle (Tim) Brown; mother-in-law, Betty Lou Simpson; sister-in-law, Renee Terry; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
