ALBANY, Mo. - Mae Wilson, 95, of Albany passed away Sunday Jan. 15, 2006, at a Trenton, Mo., nursing home, where she was a resident since October of 2005.
Mae, the daughter of Thomas W. and Daisy (Stam) Branham was born May 8, 1910, near Albany in Gentry County.
She was raised in Gentry County and on Feb. 29, 1930, she was united in marriage to Frank Wilson in Albany. He preceded her in death on Nov. 12, 1989.
They lived and farmed all their married lives in the Willow Row community, where she was a member of the Willow Row United Methodist Church. For several years Mae was employed as a cook at the Gentry County Memorial Hospital in Albany.
Besides her parents and husband, Mae was preceded in death by sisters, Edna and Laura and an infant sister, Doris; three brothers, William, Morris and Donald Branham.
Survivors: son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Donna Wilson of Trenton; two grandchildren, Kent Wilson and wife Macy, Omaha, Neb., and Kandi Chaney and husband Cliff, Lincoln, Neb.; and six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service: 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 18, at the Roberson-Polley Chapel, Albany. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Wednesday, where friends may call anytime after 8 a.m. Wednesday. Burial: Grandview Cemetery, Albany. Memorial contributions: Willow Row United Methodist Church in care of the Roberson-Polley Chapel, 403 N. Hundley, Albany, MO 64402.
