ALBANY, Mo. - Wilma Stevens, 91, of Albany, passed away on Thursday, June 20, 2013, at Golden Living Center in Albany.

Wilma, the daughter of Lester and Della Mae (Cummings) Sweat, was born August 25, 1921, in McFall, Mo.

Wilma married Forrest (Frosty) Stevens. For over 35 years, Frosty and Wilma owned and operated Frosty's Café in Albany. Frosty preceded her in death on April 21, 1986.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; sister, Venita Woody; and her brother, Gerald Sweat.

Wilma was a member of the Albany First Baptist Church, a member and past president of the BPW.

Survivors: son, Richard (Linda) Stevens, Gower, Mo.; daughter, Barbara (Dave) Mitchell, Unionville, Mo.; grandchildren, Lance (Ashley) Mitchell, Amy (Jody) Hydorn, Marlee Stevens, Craig (Vicki) Stevens, Julie Stevens; and many great and great-great grandchildren.

Funeral Service: 3 p.m. Sunday, June 23, at the Roberson-Polley Chapel, Albany with burial in the Grandview Cemetery, Albany. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service on Sunday at the chapel, where friends may call anytime after 10 a.m. Sunday.
