Daughter of William and Mary Ann (Rambo) Green, she was born near Albany in Gentry County, Missouri. She married George William Sampson and they were parents of ten known children. She died of heart trouble and was buried December 3, 1923 in Grandview East Cemetery.

Survived by husband George W. Sampson and children:
A.C. & W. W. Sampson of Montana
Della Hutchison of Nebraska City, Nebraska
Anna Waggoner of Monroe, Washington
P.G., P. N., Stella Sampson, Mary Elizabeth Williams, all of Albany, Missouri.

Preceded in death by children Charles who died 31 Oct 1918 and Verna who died in 1896.
