She died of mural thrombosis due to myocarditis and obesity, aged 73 yrs, at the Gentry County Memorial Hospital where she had spent twenty days. Her usual residence was North Albany, MO. Buried October 20, 1957 in Grandview East Cemetery next to her husband Harlan.
Survived by granddaughter Bonita Dorene Roe of Gallatin, Missouri; half-sister Mrs. Blondena Wilson of Houston, Texas and half-brother W. Dale Foster of New Hampton, Missouri.
