Jim Naughton Dead
Mike Baker has received word of the death of his cousin, Jim Naughton, of Logan, Montana, and that the body would be taken to Densmore, Kansas, for internment, that being his old home. Mr. Naughton was reared in Coffey county and was for a time in the harness business here and will be remembered by many of the older citizens who will regret to learn of his death.

The body of J.M. Naughton did not arrive here until Sunday, almost a week on the road from Montana. The services were held at St. Marys' church Monday morning. Father Riedel said requiem mass at 11 o'clock. Mrs. Grennan, mother of the deceased, came in Tuesday from Beechom [?], Colo., and Wm. Grennan and Joe Ludwigs of Beloit were here to attend the funeral.
