Funeral service for Mitzi Dale Williams, age 49 of Wartrace, will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 13, 2017 in the chapel of Doak-Howell Funeral Home with Brother Ronnie Adams and Randy Clanton officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Ms. Williams passed suddenly from this life Thursday, March 9, 2017.

Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Sunday, March 12, 2017 and 12-2 p.m. Monday, March 13, 2017 at the funeral home.

A native of Bedford County, Mitzi was born August 4, 1967 to Roger and Paralee Williams. She loved animals and had a green thumb that could make wilting plants vibrant again. She loved life, continually wore a smile and always put others before herself.

Survivors include; the love of her life and companion, Randy "Haley" Johnson of Wartrace; sons, James Avery "JJ"(Cassie) Stewart of Shelbyville and Ty Stewart of Murfreesboro; grandchildren, Addison Jade Stewart and Taylee Grace Stewart; sisters, Christy (Dawayne) Boyce and Penny (Robert) West; brothers, Bo (Karen) Williams and Josh (Tracy) Williams all of Shelbyville and many nieces and nephews.
