Christie G. Reynolds, 93, of Memphis, departed for heaven on August 11, 2017. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 pm. on Monday, August 14th and funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 pm. all at Family Funeral Care, 4925 Summer Ave. Interment to follow in Memorial Gardens Cemetery on Germantown Rd. in Bartlett TN. Mr. Reynolds served in the Third Army under General George Patton from 1943 to 1945 then moved to Memphis in 1949. He graduated from the Southern College of Watchmaking in 1950 and later retired from Dreifus Jewelers. He loved fishing, was a talented musician and an active member of Berclair Baptist Church. Chris, as he was referred to by family and friends, was predeceased by his loving wife of 68 years, Betty L. Reynolds. He is survived by his daughter, Karen S. Earwood (Ray); two sons, Steven W. Reynolds (Gloria) and Phillip C. Reynolds (Montie); sister, Billie Gephart of Corinth, MS; five grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
