He is survived by his daughter Bailey Gates (Jonathan Edwards), three grandchild, Grayson Gates, Eliot & Evelyn Edwards; mother Faye Decatur (Dave); brother Milton Mathis; two sisters, Sherry Rivenbark (Russell) and Mariea Atkinson (Danny), and many extended family members. Lindsey touched so many lives with his infectious smile and heart of gold. When he wasn't working as a registered nurse, he could be found spreading joy with his passion for music as a DJ. He was always the life of the party and loved nothing more than to entertain a crowd with his phenomenal singing voice and vivacious sense of humor. Lindsey lived every day to its fullest and truly was a legend in his own time. He was a loving father, grandfather, and a wonderful son, brother, and friend. He will be greatly missed by many.
